Dubbo's Kites for Kids has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 18.
Rain forced the cancellation of the annual event last weekend.

Families will fly hundreds of kites at Jubilee Oval on Sunday to help raise awareness of the benefits of early intervention for young children with developmental delays and disabilities.
The Sky is the Limit is the theme of Kites for Kids 2019.
Organising committee member Lorna Brennan is encouraging participation in the popular and inclusive event.
"Even if a child is in a wheelchair they can still fly a kite," she said.

Ms Brennan said the event highlighted the importance of early intervention for children with special needs.
"The sooner you can get onto it and actually give them some sort of therapy or intervention, the likelihood of them achieving their potential is so much increased.
"It just gets harder and harder as the child gets older."
Participants can take their own kites or buy a kite for $2 and decorate it at Jubilee Oval.
Kites for Kids will run from about 10am to 2pm.
"Last year we sold about 350 kites on the day," Ms Brennan said.
"They are guaranteed to fly."
Australian Kiteflyers Society members will take part in what Ms Brennan calls a "spectacular" event.
"Lots of them are coming down this year," she said.
"Giant cars and all sorts of things will fly in the air. It's going to be amazing."
