FOUR guns as well as a quad bike have been stolen during daylight hours from a rural property near Narrabri.

On Saturday, thieves hit the property on Wombo Road at Gwabegar.
Once inside, they stole four firearms, a quad bike, an outboard motor as well as two generators.
Police said the thieves struck sometime between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
Police were alerted and setup a crime scene at the property before Oxley rural crime detectives and specialist forensic officers combed the scene.

Police are appealing for help to find the stolen goods and are urging locals to be vigilant, and keep a lookout for the goods that could be offloaded.
Investigations are continuing.
Eight handguns and an air rifle were stolen from a Brought Street home in Cobar, between 2pm on Thursday and 8.30am on Friday, NSW police confirmed.
Fences cut, goods stolen
Meanwhile, 20 fences were cut and diesel fuel was siphoned from from machinery on a property north of Warren.
The damage occurred between 6pm July 26, and 6am the next morning.
Police were alerted to the damage and launched an investigation. On July 28, the landholder found a further 20 fences had been cut at the same property which had been repaired the day prior.
A Honda 500cc dirt bike, motorbike ramps and an amount of diesel fuel was also reported stolen from the property.
"Local police take rural trespass extremely seriously," the State's Rural Crime Coordinator, Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside, said.
"The impact on the local farmer, the local rural community and the potential impact on the farming industries is a current and continuing focus for the NSW Police Force.
"Rural related trespass is linked to a broad range of rural crime that has such a significant impact on rural land owners and we want to work with rural communities to put those responsible before the court."
Police said investigations are continuing.
