Dubbo College will join St Marys North Public School in Sydney through a webcast for the launch on Monday, August 5.
The dual simulcast will take place between 10 and 11am, with Dubbo College student leaders Grace Gower and David Woods joining with St Mary's school captains to host the launch.
Co-hosts, Dubbo College student leaders, Grace Gower and David Woods, said they were excited to be involved in such an auspicious occasion.
"It has been amazing to watch the school hall transformed into a live studio. It's so cool to be a part of something like this. I'm very excited but also a little nervous. We will be performing in front of a live crowd of 300, and the webcast will be broadcast to 2200 public schools in NSW," Miss Gower said.
Mr Jones said it was a privilege for the college to play such a significant role in the Education Week launch.
"I believe it is indicative of the esteem in which Dubbo College is held in regional Australia and a real commendation to our students and staff," he said.
The theme for this year's Education Week is "Every Student, Every Voice".
The webcast will include an acknowledgement of country by Dubbo College Year 12 students Skye Crawford and Quincy Ross, and a performance by Delroy Campus Yu Yang Galang Indigenous dancers. It can be viewed on youtube.
