Dubbo residents can help cancer patients with their green slips thanks to a new partnership.
Greenslips.com.au is supporting Can Assist Dubbo. Every time a customer goes onto the comparison website to purchase their CTP green slip insurance, money is donated to Can Assist.
That money is divided between the Can Assist branches.

Can Assist Dubbo secretary Fitz McKay said the money would then be used to help cancer patients pay for their green slips. She said cancer patients were already worried about their health and then they had to worry about their financial situation.
Dubbo Hospital rural care coordinator Kim Turley said the distances some people had to travel to access specialist care was mind-boggling.
"We need our cancer patients keeping their own car because public transport is limited. Mobility and access to care is really important in the staging of the disease," she said.
"If they can't get there, they don't get their treatment."
