For this great achievement of winning Macquarie Women's Club triples championships 2019.
Social bowls was also held Wednesday, July 24 resulting in
- Judy Winterton and Pat Ryan defeating Margaret McManus and Therese Gaio.
- Lois Clarke and Betty Cosier defeated Annette Clarke and Kath Corke.
- Glenis Hanigan, Beth Bradford, Kerry Mason defeate Wendy Willis, Ros Joseph, Pam Price.
- Mixed bowls was held Sunday July 28 in ideal conditions resulting in Wendy Willis, Kath Corke, Pat Ryan defeating Sadie Shibble, Ros Joseph, Therese Gaio.
Two Macquarie Teams competed in the Mid West Challenge Tuesday, July 30 resulting in a draw for Pats Ryans team and a win for Pam Price's team in the morning.
In the afternoon game Pat's team had a win but unfortunately it was a loss for Pam's team.
But thanks to the City Girls it was another great day on the green.
Mathews Trophy will be held at the City Bowling Club Tuesday, August 6.

West Men's Bowling
Thursday, August 1
Congratulations to our two teams that competed in the state pennant play-offs last weekend, both teams made it to the last eight in state great effort!!!
Grade 2 results: Round 1 defeated South Lismore 68-52, Round 2 defeated Ettalong 90-52.
Round 3 lost to Wallicia 51-65.
That result mean they came in second spot and had to play the winner of section three in the quarterfinal where they had to play East Maitland.
In darkness the boys came up five shots short of defeating them! Best perform team over the two days was Matt Thompson, Darren Connolly, Paul Hagarty and Jarrod Palmer three wins plus 36.
No 5 grade results: Round 1 lost to Batlow 40-80, then the boys bounce back to win Round 2 against Bulahdelah 55-51, Round 3 defeated Breakers Wamberal 60-49.
The boys came second in their group and had to play Marksville in the quarter finals which they lost 70-43.
Best perform team over the two days were Dave McMullen, Barry McKenzie, Craig Rodis and John Rodis.
Special thanks to both Managers Tony Spiers and Steve Robinson for the work on the weekend, and to our Spectators supporting.
The Club Triples resumes this weekend on Saturday at 1pm G Dart, T Speirs, L Pierce versus J Silk, B Baker, T Williams.
Sunday, August 4 from 1pm Winner sat game versus C Hume, R Strawhan M Strahwan: C Dart, J Robinson, T Farrell versus M Low, T Porch, D Jeffries.
Last Wednesday morning's social bowls saw Bob Bates, Dave McMullen, Ray Strawhan come away as strong winners over Leo Balstad and Dusty Cooper
Friday morning last week. Ron McCauley, John Mackenzie and Barry Sigsworth outstayed Wayne Middleton, Wayne Herd and Graham Ross for the major end of the prizemoney.
Nominations are now open for West Dubbo Men's Bowling committee.
All position's are open- President, Vice President, five committeemen and three selectors. These forms are on the notice board. Norm's closes on Sunday 18th August.
Tournaments coming up:
- August 27 Men's Over 60 triples, $2700 Prize money, four games of ten ends entry cost $25 per head.
- August 31 and September 1 Ladies Mixed thre bowl pairs, $3000 Prize money, five games of 13 ends, entry cost is $50 per head.
- September 28-29 BCIB open three bowl triples, $6000 Prize money, six game ten ends. Free entry.

West Women Bowling
Last Wednesday, July 24 Y. Fitzsimmons, J. Brown and K. Ashby defeated G. Cale, H. Purcell and P. Kessey in the semi- final of the Club Triples.
The last end was the decider and Kath Ashby's team won by one shot.
Social bowl winners were Pam Dawson and Helen Davis.
The runners up were Sue Mc Cauley, Ros Gilholme and Sofia Rae. The lucky $2 Jackpot winner of $28 went to Bev Goss.
Saturday, July 27 social bowls winners were Hela Bryan, Bev Margery and Mary Ney.
The runners up were Marg Rich and Heather Purcell.
The $2 Jackpot of $22 went to Bev Goss and this is Bev,s third win in a row.
Congratulations to Dubbo City on winning The Mid West Challenge and to Narromine on coming runner up.
The Matthews Trophy will be held at Dubbo City on Tuesday, August 6.
Morning tea is at 9am, play 9.30am and buy your lunch from the club.

Sunday morning bowls held at Dubbo City Bowls Greens seen 38 bowlers take on the greens and the results were as follows
