Lining up in the fourth and final heat of the night, She Loves Sugar set the fastest qualifying time when scoring an utterly dominant thirteen-and-a-quarter lengths at the Dubbo track.
It was an even start in the event, with She Loves Sugar ($2.70) momentarily behind wide runner Malle Billy ($12.10), but Britt's hope soon got across to the rail from box two and took complete control.

That was fractionally faster than Jeffrey Mooney's We'll Soon Know ($2), who won the third heat by three-and-a-half lengths in 18.48.

The final will be conducted this coming Friday, with Britt's sprinter standing as the one to beat.
She Loves Sugar's win was the lone victory for Canowindra-based Britt on Friday night, while there winning doubles for Merle Clarke, Dennis Barnes, and Charmaine Roberts during the 10-race meeting.
Barnes had two hot favourites race on the night and both delivered, with Nangar May and Nangar Beau winning at the odds of $1.50 and $1.20 respectively.
