With plenty of cash and prizes up for grabs in the Barwon River event that is catch and release for natives, with a weigh in for carp.
Hosted by the Collarenebri Watersports and Fishing Club, all funds raised will go into improving fish stocks on the Barwon River, with entry just $10 for adults, and $5 for children under 16 and pensioners.
All fish entered into the event must be caught in the confines of the Barwon River between Monie Bridge and Calmundi Weir.
A daily weigh-in will be held at Tattersalls Hotel Collarenebri on Saturday August 17 from 3pm to 6pm, and again on Sunday August 18, 9am to 12pm.

The event presentation will be held at Tattersalls Hotel Collarenebri at 1pm Sunday August 18.
Entrants will need to take a photo of their fish on a measuring mat with their Colly Cod Classic Fish ID tag on top or beside the fish.
The photo MUST be a clear image of the fish with the tag, whole fish and measurement clearly visible.
All prize winners must be in attendance at the time of the presentation to receive their prize money and trophies.
Raffle winners do not have to be present however it is the winner's responsibility to pick up their prize from the pub and/or to arrange and pay for transportation of their prize.
Registrations open Friday August 16, 12pm at Tattersalls Hotel Colly and close Saturday August 17 at 2pm.
