Charolais Society of Australia general manager Colin Rex was pleased with how the youth stampede went, preparing the next generation of industry leaders.
The program both exposed young people to the Charolais breed, and helped them develop life skills including public speaking, teamwork and time management, he said.
It allowed youth to see the opportunities in the industry and if they were interested, they could pursue them later in life, he said.
