The results on the court may not have been great for the Dubbo Rams but there was no doubt the seventh annual Pink Angels charity day was a huge success.

The Dubbo Basketball Association (DBA) came together at the Woolshed on Saturday to raise funds for the local Pink Angels organisation, all while having fun and showcasing some of the city's best talents on the court.
The annual charity match between police officers and the health sector workers and ambulance officers was a massive hit again, while there was also a live music show before the Rams women's and men's side played their latest Waratah League matches in the one-off pink playing kits.
"The police versus ambulance game is always a highlight," DBA's Claire Hargreaves said.
"It's because they can buy points and things like that. The points finished at more than 100 either side because they bought so many.
"We finished with $345 from just that game, which was great, and in total we raised $1453.
"That just comes from donations and raffles, and we also ha d a lot of our members baking and things like cupcakes were sold quickly.
"It' was a really good effort from the association and all our members.
"And the uniforms looked fantastic and there was plenty of pink in the crowd. Some of the Pink Angels were there as well, so it was great."
This marked the seventh year the DBA has run the event, with no sign whatsoever of it slowing down.
"It's something we can do quite easily with the support of the police, ambulance, and health care workers who get involved," Hargreaves said.
"It's something we're passionate about."

The only downside to the day was both Dubbo sides suffering Waratah League defeats.
The injury-hit women's side was up first to play its final match of the season, and despite a gutsy effort it was edged out 89-71 by the Coffs Harbour Suns.
The men's side, winless heading into it's second last game for the year, then suffered one of its biggest losses of 2019.

The Rams came up against a red-hot Canberra Gunners outfit and were blown off the court, going down 130-57 in a 73-point thumping.
"The girls went in with a few injuries. Demi Wilson and Tori Monk had ankle injuries and Abbie Merritt had an injured foot and they're three really mobile players," Hargreaves said, before touching on the men's side.
"They're still so good to watch but Saturday night wasn't great for them.
"But they never give up and every time they give it their best. It's good for our kids to see that."
The men have one game left for this season, away at Wagga next weekend.
