On Monday morning between 9 and 10 am a truck carrying steel beams tipped after going through the roundabout on the Mitchell Highway, near the Orana Mall.

Dubbo's Fire and Rescue Services, and Dubbo police officers attended the scene.
The truck driver was not injured in the incident.
According to Inspector Paul Stephens from the Dubbo Police, the road was quiet at the time of the accident and no other vehicles were caught in the incident.
Inspector Stephens said the driver of the truck thought he had felt his load shift and was trying to do the right thing by pulling up to check it.
According to Inspector Stephens the driver tried to pull off to the side to check if his load was secure; however, the truck lost balance and rolled.
"He [the truck driver] was doing everything right that was required of him to do," Inspector Stephens said.

Inspector Stephens said it was fortunate the truck driver managed to pull the truck over and the accident didn't occur on the road.
