Phil Chan now works as the chief technology officer at AgriWebb, a livestock and farm management software company that helps farmers with record keeping, compliance and productivity.
He is set to discuss the future of the agricultural industry and share tips to help businesses drive innovation.
"Delivering internet connectivity for a passenger on a plane is nice, but improving the agricultural industry will improve the lives for millions of people around the world," Mr Chan said.
"I am excited to improve the lives of farmers and ensure food safety and improve productivity in an industry that is incredibly important for the future of the world," he said.

Phil Chan is the chief technology officer at AgriWebb, the leading livestock management system in Australia.
Mr Chan has more than 20 years of experience in creating and leading technology product teams.
He was a founding member of Tenzing Communications which led the development of the first in-flight internet system and eventually formed a joint venture with Airbus.
Many commercial aircraft around the world use this system.
Mr Chan also worked at IBM where he was responsible for a team of 500 developers across seven countries.
