More than 500 families have received support from the Tresillian in Western Family Care Centre at Dubbo since it opened in January.
The hub for parents struggling with the challenges often experienced when caring for a baby or toddler provided the data as it held an open day on Friday.
The service is an option closer to home to alleviate the need to travel hundreds of kilometres for help.
Centre nurse unit manager Marsha McBroom thanked the community for its support.
"We [the Tresillian team] all enjoy working with mothers and babies to try to help them in their journey of parenthood and babyhood," she said.
"And to have the opportunity and support to work regionally this way so families don't have to travel, makes our job even more meaningful... Dubbo has just supported this centre so much, and we've had so many referrals, it's been amazing."
First-time Dubbo mum Jessica Wood shared with the audience how she had been going through a tough time after the birth of her son in February before she found vital support from Tresillian.
"To have the support of dedicated Tresillian nurses and the vast experience of the Tresillian organisation on our doorstep is something we should be incredibly grateful for," she said.
The centre is the result of a partnership between Tresillian, the NSW government and Western NSW Local Health District.
"Tresillian is a valuable and important community service for local families with a baby or young children who may be struggling, particularly in the areas of sleep and the early stages of parenthood," Dubbo MP Dugald Saunders said.
Tresillian CEO Robert Mills said there was high demand for the centre's services.
"We know many parents experiencing complex challenges such as anxiety and depression have to travel vast distances to access specialist services but the Tresillian in Western Family Care Centre in Dubbo means families can now receive specialist support much closer to home."
