Residents of the Orana region can receive free, face-to-face support with their energy accounts and related issues at a Bring Your Bills and Community Support Day in Dubbo on July 18.
The Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW (EWON) has organised the event in partnership with CatholicCare Wilcannia Forbes at a 'pop-up shop'.
Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW Janine Young encouraged people to take advantage of the opportunity to meet with EWON and other services to receive one-on-one support.
"Staff from EWON or an energy retailer will listen to your concerns, review your bills and try to resolve any issues you have - on the spot if possible," Ms Young said.
"We will also refer you to government agencies and community organisations there on the day for support with housing, legal or financial problems, including fines."
Customers should bring along current and past energy and water bills, any letters from retailers, Centrelink Health Cards, and any other concession cards to 88-90 Macquarie Street from 10am to 3pm on July 18.
