The children painted the animal of their choice and created a landscape for the animal to live in.
Four-year-old Clem Clayton Jones painted a home for his monsters.
"My favourite monster is Pumpkinhead, sometimes I have dreams about him, he's funny," he said.
"I love monsters."
Clem said he has a lot of "stuff" at home he "can't break".
Isla Lane drew a leopard.
"Whenever I go to the zoo it's {leopards]} one of my favourite animals. I like all the spots over it," Isla said.
Isla said she enjoyed the workshop because she likes art.
"It's really creative," she said.
Isla little sister Tessa Lane said she's painting a rainbow because she wants to.
When Tessa was asked why she wanted to paint a rainbow she said, "because I do."
