Dubbo Dirt Bike Club riders Jack Deveson and siblings Campbell and Kaitlyn Hall have dominated their rivals to collect trophies in their respective race classes at the Hattah Desert Race on the weekend.

Recognised as one of the most challenging off-road enduro races in Australia, the Hattah Desert Race attracts over 650 of the best dirt bike riders from all over Australia to test themselves against each other and the sandy desert country of North Western Victoria.
Racing in the 9-13 years 65cc class, 11-year-old Deveson was too strong for the field of 65cc riders, beating second place by four minutes and completing the 72 kilometre junior race in a time of 1 hour 20 minutes and 25 seconds.
Competing against riders from a number of different age and bike classes, the year five St Mary's student finished in sixth place overall out of a field of 107 riders who completed the junior course.
The win marks the third year in a row the talented young rider has won his class at the Hattah Desert Race.
Collecting his championship trophy Deveson said "I'm pretty stoked to pick up my third win at Hattah. It's a great race and I really enjoyed myself out there today."
Racing in the 12-16 years 85cc class 13-year-old Campbell Hall cruised to second place in the 132km intermediate race in a time of 2 hours 10 minutes and 19 seconds.
The time placed Hall in 13th position overall out of 233 riders from various classes taking on the intermediate course.
Speaking after the race Hall said he "trained super hard leading up to the race and felt strong in the qualifying."
"The track conditions were perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed the race. I can't wait for next year!" he continued.
Older sister Kaitlyn put in an impressive performance after an early crash to finish the 132km intermediate course in third position in the 12-16 years Girls class.
The result placed the 15-year-old in 81st position overall out of 233 competitors racing the intermediate course.
Commenting on the race Kaitlyn said she had to work hard for the result and was looking forward to tackling the seniors race next year.
"I had a massive crash in the first couple of kilometres but picked myself up and overtook 47 positions to finish with third in the girls class and 81st outright," she said.
"I was really stroked with my results so bring on seniors next year!" she continued.
A number of other Dubbo juniors put in solid performances to finish in the top 20 of their respective classes on the weekend, demonstrating the quality of the riders from Dubbo.
Will Cale finished 6th in the 72km junior course, Clancy O'Connor crossed the line in 12th, and Reuben Morse finished 15th in the 65cc class, while Asher Morse crossed the line in 11th and Nick Sweeney finished 15th.
