But few parts of NSW will be invested in the match as our own western area.
And not just in the main game either, with Western Rams juniors also set to feature in the under 20s Origin curtain-raiser.
Former St John's and Dubbo CYMS star Matt Burton has been part of the NSW squad preparing for that game, along with Parkes junior Darby Medlyn and Forbes' Charlie Staines.
The main event will then feature a plethora of players with ties to the west, including Orange juniors Jack Wighton and James Maloney, as well as Wellington product Blake Ferguson.
Josh Addo-Carr, another player with ties to Wellington, will partner Ferguson on the wing.

The under 20s game will be first up on Wednesday and the NSW side, coached by former Blues workhorse and Australian representative Mark O'Meley, will be out to avenge last year's loss to the Maroons.
Both Burton and Staines, Group 11 stars of last year who have been in scintillating form for the Penrith Panthers' Jersey Flegg side in 2019, have been part of the extended squad which has been training under O'Meley this week.
Medlyn, now playing his footy with the Canberra Raiders, will start in the back-row and the former Spacemen and Western Rams junior captain ...
"It means a lot, it was a pretty surreal feeling finding out that I was in the side and I'm just really grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to get out there," Medlyn said.
"I got an email saying I was in the side, I couldn't believe it, I called the family up and it was pretty emotional but it was unreal.
"Mum and Dad usually travel about five hours every week to come and watch me play, they love it, but most of my family and friends from Parkes will be coming down to watch so it will be pretty awesome."
Medlyn also had plenty of praise for the Western Rams and Country Rugby League (CRL) pathway, which played a huge role in his career and led him to sign with the Raiders in 2017.
"I was really happy to go through the CRL pathway through the Rams and this sort of thing coming up now makes you really grateful knowing you've come from that," he added.
O'Meley has worked to instill a strong mentality within the group for the Origin clash, something he says is a "different beast" compared to regular footy and he wants all his players to take the opportunity in front of them.
"These kids see this is a definite pathway (to the NRL and Origin) and I'm sure they'll lap it up and enjoy this atmosphere," he said.
The 20-man junior squad includes NRL players like Oregon Kaufusi, Stefano Utoikamanu, Sam Verrills and Brandon Wakeham and the Rams products have been eager to draw on their experiences in the lead-up to the Origin clash.
After what the Blues young guns hope will be a storming victory over their fierce rivals, they'll sit back and take in the highly-anticipated third game of this year's Origin series.
After being downed by the Maroons in game one the Blues ran rampant when winning game two, setting up a blockbuster decider.
"We performed at a level that was needed," Ferguson said of that win, before looking forward to Wednesday night's decider at ANZ.
"It's so good. I can't wait. I remember making my debut in front of 84,000 there."
Wighton, who played his junior footy with Bloomfield in Origin, was equally pumped when speaking about the decider.
"I'm excited. I can't wait to get in, get amongst it, and hopefully do the job," he said.
The under 20s Origin match, which has featured the likes of Dubbo's Charly Runciman and another Wellington junior in Kotoni Staggs in the past, will be played prior to the main game at 8pm.
