The Paramount Tennis Club's autumn competition has concluded with exciting grand finals across the A, B and C Grades.

The autumn competition, which commenced in April and concluded this week, featured approximately 100 players across the three grades who all enjoyed the level of tennis, regardless of whether it was A or B Grade, or the more social C Grade.
In A Grade, Nathan Astri, Dylan Cox, Mick Ray and Ricky Chan proved too good for Lyndall Murray, Matt Woodbridge, Sean Behsman and Wendy Cox.
In B Grade, Allan Blanch, Caroline Bromham, Gerard Cahill and Ty Xu-Glassop were victorious over Claire Joshua, Andrew Brown, Jason Brown and Zillah Rogers.
In C Grade, Letitia Hart, Max Ramien, Sudhir Paudel and Steph Rusden proved too strong for Ricky Chan, Sally Kay, Tanya Maxwell and Tammy Mudford.
The C Grade division is very social and again gave out some special awards - most improved Amog Khanal, most reliable reserve Jyoti Karki and biggest personality player Garry Goodman.
Focus now shifts to the upcoming winter competition which will commence the week of Monday, 22 July and run for 10 weeks.
The teams will be finalised shortly so anyone interested in playing should contact organisers Charlie Whiteley (0417 026 164, Monday A Grade), Gerard Cahill (0410 220 899, Wednesday B Grade), or Paul Handsaker (0429 069 745, Thursday C Grade) as soon as possible.
The A, B and C Grade competitions cater for players of all abilities and interest levels so anyone is welcome to play.
