The Nyngan Tigers have wrestled back control over their struggling side's trajectory after putting in a stable performance against the Westside Rabbitohs at Apex Oval.
The Tigers, who were reunited with Trangie-born NRL star and Captain-coach Justin Carney for the match, were able to impose their will over the course of a truncated, fifty minute game that saw the still ailing Westside Rabbitohs score only two points.
The Tigers racked up 66 points over the course of Friday night's match, leading 50 - 2 at half-time and dealing themselves a much needed win at a crucial point in the competition.
The Tigers won three straight games to kick off the season in style, but have struggled to find winning form since, only able to bank one competition point thanks to a draw with the Macquarie Raiders, and been hit hard by injury.
The Tigers will next travel to take on the Parkes Spacemen at Pioneer Oval.
