The Macquarie Raidettes saw off their opponents from Narromine in emphatic fashion to kick off the Rugby League at Apex Oval on Saturday.
The Raidettes, who currently sit in the middle of the ladder, ended the game eighteen points ahead of Narromine, having totalled up a score of 24 - 6 by the final horn.
The Raidettes started off the game on uneasy footing with neither side managing to find their way across the try line.
But their fortunes changed when they managed to put two tries past the Narromine line thanks to Rachael Forrest and Maddy McGuinness, Tarlee Roberts managed to kick a conversion to to give the Raidettes a ten point lead just before the end of the first half.
Narromine managed to claw back the lead with a try early in the second half and a succesful conversion, but after that it was all Macquarie, with the home-team's Kiara Singh and Paigan Anderson putting fourteen more points on the board across the final twenty minutes in order to secure the win.
Macquarie's league tag side have now put together back to back wins after defeating the Nyngan Tigers 28 - 10 in their last outing.
Prior to that, their efforts to climb the ladder were dealt a blow when they fell to the second place Parkes Spacecats at home.
Next week, Narromine will return to Apex Oval to face off against the ladder-leading CYMS side, while the Macquarie Raidettes will travel to Spooner Oval in order to square off with their closest rival on the ladder, the Forbes Magpies.
