Captain-Coach Wes Middleton returned to the field for the game and kept the Raiders focused and disciplined enough to set a clear difference between the two teams form the get go.

Macquarie's Boche Satrick found his way past the Narromine defense six minutes in and Macquarie continued to pile on the points thanks to Middleton's exceptional chip and chase game and stalwart Brody Chapman's boot.

Chapman kicked six conversions throughout the game, and powered across the line to score a try of his own, while Middleton out-manoeuvred his former Narromine teammates twice in the game's first half and helped set up Francis Tremaine to cross the line himself, giving the Raiders a 30 - 6 lead at half-time.

"The draw last time left a bitter taste in our mouth, but today we turned up, we had our head's in the game from the kick-off and for the eighty minutes, I felt like we controlled the game," Middleton said of his side's performance.

"It's hard to sit on the side and watch the boys out here going through it, playing without you on the field, but it's good to be back and get back on the field and win like that today."

Jarryd Usher scored the Jets lone try of the first half and didn't mince words about the lacking performance the Jets put in.

"Obviously it wasn't good, the scoreboard reflected how we played really, we felt good coming in, but right from the kick-off, we were on the back foot and the game just rolled on from there," Usher said.

There was little to console the Jets in the second half and few opportunites to muster a comeback as injuries and the Raiders' pressure sapped their strength.

William Middleton caught a Francis Tremain off-load and kept putting points on the board for Macquarie almost immediately after play resume and the Jets best answer was power forward Corey Redman who managed to force his way across the line and give Janus Walford a second opportunity to kick a conversion.

Brad Spencer and Moavuka Kavaefiafi extended the lead for Macquarie out to 46 - 12 before the Jets Linton Cross-Shaw surged around the outside and scored in the corner to give the Jets a late consolation prize in the game's final stretch.
