The concept aims to unearth start-up talent outside metro areas and enable entrepreneurs to realise their potential.
Dubbo will play host to one of nine regional finals on July 3.
The grassroots finalists are: Simone Fletcher, Joh Leader, Rod Campbell, Vanessa Curtain, Cherie Thompson, Simone Julius and Leanne O'Sullivan.
The Exchange, in partnership with Regional Development Australia Orana is hosting the event.
"Regional Pitchfest is a program designed and proven to help realise the potential and celebrate the success of Australia's rural and regional entrepreneurs, artisans and small businesses," The Exchange community manager Minna Demetriou said.
"We'd like to thank Regional Pitchfest for providing us with this incredible opportunity to showcase entrepreneurship in our region and for allowing us to highlight the potential of local start-ups and small businesses.
"Given that we have so much talent in the region, we are thrilled to announce that we have seven finalists who will be pitching to a panel of four local judges on the night.
