Both sides are without a loss for the 2019 season but for one of the teams that is going to change come round seven.
Suspense has been building all season as the Dubbo and District Netball Association A-grade teams awaited the match where they would see the two top teams go head-to-head.
Fusion Heat Captain Tash Robinson said, "If any team can do it [beat Fusion Heat], it's them [Fusion Fire]."
But the side will remain content no matter the round seven results.
"We're not nervous; we're wary of the team, they have a lot of talent," she said.
"Either way it's not going to phase us.
"If we get taken down, we will just come back bigger and stronger for the next round."
Robinson said Fusion Fire would be down some players, but that won't deter from its potential to take the Heat out.
"Fusion Fire has unfortunately faced some injuries during last weeks games so they will be down a few girls," Robinson said.
"But they definitely still have the depth to take us down."
The teams will clash at noon, and according to almost everyone, it isn't a match you're going to want to miss out on witnessing.
"It's going to be a good game," Robinson said.
A win or loss for either side wouldn't change the dynamic all that significantly at this point in the season, and Robinson says Fusion Heat isn't too worried about losing the round to Fusion Fire.
After their round seven battle, the sides won't go up against one another again until round 14, the last game before finals.

Narromine Hawks went up against St Diamonds, defeating them 56-36, and the Inspire Rebels took on St Comebacks, defeating them 32-18.
In round seven the Macquarie Hornets, fourth on the ladder, will play against Inspire Rebels, fifth on the ladder.
St Diamonds, sixth on the ladder, will take on St Comebacks, who are currently lagging in eighth place on the ladder, and the Nyngan Cougars, seventh on the ladder, will take on the Narromine Hawks, third on the ladder.
