If the Wellington Cowboys can claim their fifth straight win against the Narromine Jets this Sunday at Kennard Park it will be because of their defensive efforts, coach Justin Toomey-White says.

The Cowboys take on the Jets at home in the Group 11, round seven clash.
"We're feeling alright, we've had a week's rest leading into this game and had the long weekend (general bye) so the boys should be refreshed and raring to go for Sunday's match against Narromine," he said.
The Jets are coming into the game with two really good wins, so it was going to be a tough game for the Cowboys this weekend, Toomey-White said.
In round five the Jets held on to win against the Nyngan Tigers 24-22. They followed that up with a strong victory over Westside, winning 86-16 in round six.
"It's going to be a forwards battle on Sunday but I'm really looking forward to the match," Toomey-White said.
Despite Narromine's recent mighty efforts, Wellington are coming off four consecutive wins, which Toomey-White puts down to "hard work" and bonding as a squad.
Their most recent victory was against the Forbes Magpies at Spooner Oval where they thumped them 22 - 12.
The Cowboys were able to keep the Magpies scoreless in the first half of the round six match and even though Forbes scored three late tries in the last 40 minutes, it still wasn't enough.
Wellington's coach said the Cowboys pride themselves on their defence and were starting to get some good combinations together.
"And the rest of it takes care of itself. We'll be working hard this week and preparing the boys for a tough match on Sunday," he said.
"We back ourselves off our defence and defence has been winning us the games."
The clash against Narromine will be Wellington's first home game in recent weeks and the Cowboys coach said he was looking forward to hosting the Jets because a home game makes a lot of difference.
"Our supporters travel well. They're our backbone. We've got a really good support base that cheer us on. There's no better feeling than the boys running on to Kennard Park with he crowd there cheering them on," he explained.
"It's good to have that little edge with having the home game. We're just looking forward to getting back to Kennard and fingers crossed play some good footy."
The Cowboys welcomed fresh players in 2019 bringing in good experiences, Toomey-White said, which local players have jumped on.
"We're looking forward to getting back into the footy. It felt like a month this week, with the weekend off," he said.
