Justin Carney insists good times are ahead for the Nyngan Tigers but he's also blunt about what needs to be fixed to stop a worrying slide.

Carney was forced to watch from the sidelines on Saturday as his side failed to win for a fourth straight week.
Only the boot of Daryl Cubby staved off another defeat, his penalty after full-time forcing the Tigers and Macquarie Raiders to share the points after a 10-all draw at Larkin Oval.
After three straight wins to start the year, results which made everyone in the competition sit up and take notice, the Tigers have now gone a month without victory.
"As a coach the boys are probably sick of me, you're never satisfied," Carney said.
"I think our best is ahead of us so we'll get there and we've got to remember it's a new side as well.
"We've bought a whole new side in. It's very hard to gel.
"You're going to have good games, you're going to have bad games. You've got to find where people's levels are and go from there."

Despite missing out on maximum points, Carney still described Saturday's result as a positive.
It was a much-improved performance compared to the week before when the Tigers lost "miserably" to the ladder-leading Dubbo CYMS.
But injuries continue to plague the Tigers with Sione Fakahua the latest to go down.
Fakahua suffered a potentially seriously leg injury during the draw with the Raiders and now joins Carney, Sam Simmons, Jak Jeffrey, and Matt Fieldsend on the sidelines.
The Tigers sit fourth on the ladder, one point ahead of the Forbes Magpies and the Raiders.
Carney's men will take on the Magpies at home this weekend, after moving their scheduled back to the weekend of June 22 and 23.
Carney, after hamstring and eye injuries, hopes to be back for the Forbes game.
