On June 3, Mr Amor announced on social media that he would be stepping down from his duties as the NSW Ride Coordinator, saying "now seems to be the time for someone else have a crack" at the role.
Mr Amor said he has had six inspiring years as the NSW Black Dog Ride Coordinator.
The Black Dog Ride first began in 2010 with several hundred riders joining founder Steve Andrews on a day long mission to raise awareness of depression.
By March 2018, the national awareness raising activity had over 6500 riders participate in 41 regions in every state and territory across the nation.

A 40th birthday gift from his wife, Judy, lead Mr Amor on the journey with the Black Dog Ride including all of the wonderful people and experiences he has enjoyed since 2014.
Mr Amor will still be coordinating the local Dubbo Black Dog Ride 1 Dayer.
"I am grateful to have had the generosity and assistance from many people along the way, too many to mention here," Mr Amor said in his social media announcement.
"I will always have the friends I have made in this role and cherish the times we have spent on the road."
One of the biggest things Mr Amor said he treasured most as the NSW Coordinator was watching the Black Dog riders meeting one another and sharing their own stories.
Soon after announcing his decision to step down, Mr Amor's post was flooded with well wishes from people all over the country.
"Good on you Wayne," Nathan Gyaneshwar said.
"Thanks for all the effort you put in to making the NSW rides safe, noisy, fun and most of all for getting people talking about what's important. Your effort has touched many," he said.
Graham Falconer thanked Mr Amor for all he has done for the Black Dog Ride and said he was proud to call him a mate.
"And all the lives you have touched and had a positive impact upon. Your personality and humour will be sadly missed, without a doubt the most enjoyable rides I've been on. Ride smart and stay safe," Mr Falconer said.
Mr Amor thanked everyone for the role they continue to play with the Black Dog Ride.
