Charlotte Woodward, Madeline Dearlove and Tabitha Daetwyler from the National Capital Ballet School were competing in their second ever eisteddfod.
Speaking before her ballet solo, Charlotte said she was really excited and thought all the dancers would go really well.
Ballet was her favourite kind of dancing, but Charlotte said she the troupe had also started contemporary and hip hop.

"When you're a dancer sometimes you need to be an allrounder, but ballet is the root of all dancing," the young performer said.
Madeline said she was looking forward to being on stage because watching dancing made people happy.
"Ballet feels graceful but it needs strength. It's really lovely. You feel like you need to be strong but you also need strength," she said.
While she was doing ballet on Tuesday, the dancer said she loved doing hip hop because she could give attitude.
For Tabitha, there were a few nerves as she waited to go on stage.
However, she said her favourite part of the dance was her leap in the middle.
Despite only being the second eisteddfod they've participated in, the performers have already gone well. They received two Highly Commendeds in the group section.
