Will Archer is loving his time at the Dubbo Kangaroos but the side's ongoing issues with ill-discipline has made his first season at the club somewhat frustrating.

Archer has taken to the Blowes Clothing Cup with ease after moving to Dubbo and linking with the Roos, quickly establishing himself as one of the competition's premier forwards.
His work at the back of the scrum has been immense but there's been little to show for it, with Saturday's win over Forbes just the second for the Roos in 2019.
"I'm loving the footy here and I enjoy living here. Even though we haven't been doing so well it's been good to be around these blokes and this club," Archer said, before speaking about the need to improve discipline.
"Every team will say it, it's not just us. But looking at the teams we've played though, we've been more ill-disciplined."
Things were a little better during Saturday's much-needed 27-20 win over the Platypi.
After committing countless errors and conceding numerous penalties in the first 40, the hosts improved in the second stanza and tries to Ned Williams, captain Shaun McHugh, and Archer secured the bonus-point victory.

The result also saw the Roos leapfrog the Platypi into the all-important fourth spot on the ladder heading into the long weekend's general bye.
The win was a hugely satisfying and morale-boosting one for the men in sky blue after a string of close-fought losses, the latest of those in the previous round against Orange Emus.
"Comparatively, against Emus last week the first half was perfect and this week it was penalty after penalty and so such dropped ball and we killed it for ourselves," Archer said of Saturday's first half.
Archer played at No. 8 on Saturday, having spent time at flanker for much of the season previously.
The return from a long-term knee injury of Mark Baldwin has seen him slot back into the forward pack, while injuries and unavailability has also seen things get shuffled around most weeks.
"Six is my most favoured position and the one I love playing the most," Archer said.
"Six, seven, eight or whatever happens though really."
