Depth is key in any bush footy competition and there were few better examples of that than at Bathurst University Oval on Saturday.

CSU maintained its unbeaten record in the New Holland Agriculture Cup in style, crushing the Rhinos 64-0.
While the starting lineup did a fine job and set up the win, the impact from the bench was immense and ensured the CSU side never really allowed the Rhinos into the game.
All that without one of the competition's standouts in Regan Hughes and also Nick Greenberg, both were unavialble for the students.
While CSU has now won eight straight matches and sits on top of the standings the Rhinos have lost each match in 2019 and sits at the foot of the ladder.
Saturday was another difficult and frustrating day at the office, with a young and attack-minded CSU side running rampant at home.
Fhalf Nick Plunkett led the way, guiding the students around the park while also scoring a double, but coach David Conyers said the players coming off the pine was the real highlight.
"I think the feature of the game was our bench," he said.
"We had a really strong bench and brought guys on at strategic times, getting some real impact.
"That was something we haven't really had all year, until last week at Mudgee. The first couple of rounds, we weren't getting those explosive impacts from the guys that were playing about 75 minutes and getting run down a bit in the last 10 to 15 minutes.
"This time, our bench was really effective against Dubbo."
CSU had seven different try scorers at University Oval, with Plunkett , Aden Macdougall and Harry Hunt all finishing with doubles.
CSU also triumphed in second grade and the Westfund Ferguson Cup.
The Rhinos have a chance to regroup now, with no matches scheduled next weekend during a general bye.
After the long weekend the winless Dubbo side is on the road again, this time taking on the Mudgee Wombats.
CSU has a tricky test in its next fixture, with a trip to Narromine's Cale Oval up next.
The Gorillas downed Blayney on Saturday and sit second, their only loss coming in their prior meeting with CSU earlier in the year.
