The councillor and mayoral fees for 2019/20 are one of the items on the agenda at the Dubbo Regional Council May Ordinary Meeting.
How much councillors are paid is determined by the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal. In Dubbo, the maximum a councillor can receive is $20,280 for the year, while for the mayor it is $44,250.
In Narromine, councillors who miss meetings without a genuine reason will be docked their pay. However, Dubbo Regional mayor Ben Shields said Dubbo will not implement similar changes.

A petition on the Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre change of management will also be meeting agenda.
The 200 page petition contains signatures calling to Nick Wilson to be reinstated as the Dubbo pool manager.
In March, councillors voted to to bring the management of the pool in-house, instead of retaining the contract with B and N Aquatics. It will be managed under the Recreation and Open Space area of council.
However, almost 4000 people have signed a petition against the decision.
At the meeting a decision will also be made on a push by Cr Shields to introduce water restrictions.
Cr Shields said the ongoing drought continued to present challenges to all water users within the Macquarie catchment.
"As a proactive response I believe council should resole to implement level two water restrictions as from 1 June 2019 across the entire local government area to demonstrate council is playing its part in responsibly managing water within the catchment," he said.
The meeting will be in the Dubbo council chambers on Monday from 5.30pm.
