Westside was yet again unable to score for round five, and the Bulls walked away with a strong 9-0 victory.
Bulls coach Jason Schink says he wasn't surprised by the win against the Panthers'.
"They're still down on numbers," Schink said.
"But we had new-found respect for the Panthers knowing what they had done to the Wanderers' last week [round four]."
Schink says having players like Scott Fox on his side is a luxury that he has.
"Scott Fox leads the team, and the young blokes have really stepped up," he said.
"Most of our side have been with us for two to three years, some are going on their 12th and 10th year.
"We do a fair bit together off the field too, it's a good way to get the blokes to bond."
Schink says the Bulls have some powerful talent on their side that are yet to unveil their full potential this season.
"Matthew Lovedee just moved up from third grade, he wasn't committed before, but now he is," Schink said.
"He's a quality player and he's been killing it every week."
Schink pointed to midfielder Glen Schein as the key to continuing the Bulls' winning streak.
"He runs the whole team," he said.
"And despite Gareth Williams having had an off few weeks, he's our most dangerous player week in week out."
Schink says the Bulls are excited to continue 'doing what they do' as they attempt to land in the grand final for their tenth straight year.
"We've lost three grand finals after being undefeated in the regular season in the last 10 years, so we don't worry about the regular season too much," Schink said.
The Bulls are focused on a tenth year in the finals, but don't want to get ahead of themselves.
"We're not going to count our chickens before our eggs have hatched," Schink said.
"We've taken the same approach into this season as we did last year.
"We eased into the season slow, not going to hard to early."
In round six the side will go up against Orana Spurs for the second time this season, the Bulls walked away with a hard-fought 2-1 win over the Spurs in that encounter.
"Macquarie United and the Orana Spurs are our biggest competitors," Schink said.
"We could beat them [Spurs] 1-0 or lose to them 6-0.
"There's only a small gap between us, the Spurs and Macquarie.
"So we will definitely be aiming for some breathing space on top of the ladder going forward."
