Dubbo junior Tratt, signed by the Sky Blues early in the season after a raft of injuries, didn't feature in the the grand final win over Perth, one decided by penalties.
Tratt was a chance to play earlier in the week when he was called into the squad due to doubts around the fitness of Michael Zullo.
However, he wasn't needed and Sydney FC keeper Andrew Redmayne became the hero, saving two penalties in the shootout after the score was locked at 0-0 after the 90 minutes and a further half hour of extra time.
The win at Perth was one to savour and it marked a record-equalling fourth A-League premiership win for Sydney FC.
While the celebrations started immediately after the final penalty, somewhat sadly for Sydney FC their season isn't quite done.
The Sky Blues face Kawasaki Frontale in a dead rubber Asian Champions League match on Tuesday, with many grand finalists surely to get the night off.
"We might be a little bit drunk," Sydney FC coach Steve Corica laughed after the decider.
Tratt is every chance to feature in that game having missed the final.
