The society's Dubbo chapter, called Dubbo Red Hot Flashes, put its hand up to organise the 2019 get-together which kicked off with cocktails at Dubbo RSL Memorial Club on Thursday evening.
After a tour of the city on Friday, the Hatters had a group photograph taken on the steps of Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre before heading into the central business district for lunch at cafes and pubs, and a spot of shopping.
Nine motels in the city accommodated the visiting women and a Dubbo bus company moved them around the city.
Other venues in the city which hosted the Hatters included Dubbo Turf Club, Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden and Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
The society, founded in the United States of America in 1998, has 1.5 million chapters across the world which aim to promote old and new friendships through fun activities.
Queen of the Dubbo chapter, Pamela Ridley, said "when you join it is about you".
"We all do things for charities and other works but when we come to the Red Hats it is for us," she said.
