Hausia currently coaches both the Rabbitohs and Oilsplus Cup rugby union side the Geurie Goats.
The Goats side, which won last year's premiership, features Filisione Pauta and Josh Sinisa, who will line up for Macquarie on Sunday.
"Yes, I do think it's a disadvantage (for them)," Hausia laughed.
"But I do hope they play well."
Despite the small advantage, Hausia said he isn't expecting a miracle win for his side.
The struggling Rabbitohs are without a win after three rounds and are coming off a 106-4 thumping at Wellington last week.

"We're still short of numbers on our side and we've been struggling with fatigue," Hausia said.
"But my focus has never been on the game and I'm not looking to win, I'm looking to build my team.
"I'm their mentor, not their coach. I want to grow their morals, ethics, performances and teach them discipline and self-respect.
"The biggest issue is that despite being a community based club, the community see's Westside as an Aboriginal team. It's not, we're a family club just like everyone else."
Hausia says even if Westside gets 'flogged', he wants to see the boys out there shaking hands.
"Westside are men, they are not boys, that's the thing I'm most proud of," he said.
"I've already seen a change in my team, the scoreboard is not my concern, their attitude is. None of my players have been sent off or sin binned."
Hausia said when things get tough some flee, but the ones who stay are the ones who say "I'm here with you all the way brother". That's the type of player he and the club want to see this year.
While the Rabbitohs aren't expecting a win, the Raiders head into the game in need of a victory.
The men in blue have come into the game having lost heavily to both Forbes and CYMS after a round one draw with Narromine.
Captain-coach Wes Middleton has again made a number of changes with Adam McDermott named to return at halfback while Beau Satrick reverts to the back-row and Aaron Daniel shifts back to the centres.
Middleton wasn't named to play after not featuring off the bench due to an ankle complaint last round.
The action at Apex Oval on Sunday starts with a junior game at 11am with reserve grade, league tag, and first grade to follow.
