Many of the current players have been through seasons with no or only a few wins and that, somewhat disappointingly, helps them accept what the side is currently going through.
The Rhinos are without a win and rooted to the bottom of the New Holland Agriculture Cup ladder heading into this weekend's round six meeting with Parkes at Apex Oval.
"I've been in a few big losses in my time," stalwart prop James Dodd laughed.
"But it's about keeping those young fellas up. There's a few of us who are getting on and probably don't have too many more years of rugby left so it's getting them ready and helping this club get success.
"Matty Neill, Ryan McCracken. Those younger fellas have give 110 percent this year and we keep turning up for them."

Dodd has been part of the Rhinos for a number of years and while this campaign has started in tough fashion, he's been impressed by the attitude of the club's younger players.
The season may not have reached it's halfway mark and the finals may be looking out of reach already, but one win can change everything.
Dodd and his teammates hope that win arrives this weekend.
The Parkes Boars have also struggled this season and have just the one win, a victory against the Rhinos which came in the first round of the season.
Dodd can see similarities between the two sides, with both battling to get strong numbers to both training sessions and game days for work commitments and various other reasons.
A clash with another side lower on the ladder is a welcome one for the Rhinos after last week's 93-10 battering at the hands of defending premiers Narromine.
"We can get on a run," Dodd said ahead of Saturday's rematch with the Boars.
"We've just got to forget last weekend and start again.
"A good week of training and a good game, anything can happen after that."
Dodd said Tuesday's training session was a strong one after the heavy loss at Narromine, with improving the defensive effort a focus heading into this weekend.
Saturday's match at Apex Oval kicks off at 3.15pm.
