The fast charger will allow electric vehicles owners to charge their cars in about 30 minutes. It comes after the NRMA installed chargers in Parkes and Bathurst.
NRMA chief investment officer Rachel Wiseman said the company's aim was that 95 per cent of EV journeys would be within 150 kilometres of a charging station.

Dubbo Regional mayor Ben Shields said the fast charger was a great way to boost tourism.
He said so far it had been "slow and steady" with the uptake of the Tesla chargers, but as more people bought electric vehicles he expected that to grow.
"It certainly is a win for Dubbo Regional Council simply because this has been totally cost neutral to us, we're not even paying the power," the mayor said.
"This has all been installed by third parties and we are just benefiting from the visitors who have to park here and have to use the cafe and facilities as the cultural centre."
