A Dubbo couple who've gone through "the roughest few years" have had their life turned around by winning $200,000 in a lottery.

They won the guaranteed $200,000 first prize in the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot, drawn Wednesday.
It's been a winning month for Dubbo, with a local mum winning the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize of $4.92 million just three weeks ago.
When a NSW Lotteries official broke the news to the latest winner on Wednesday, she revealed the prize couldn't have come at a better time, NSW Lotteries reported.
"We've had the roughest few years of our lives, filled with so much bad luck," she said.
"You have no idea how much this means to us.
"I can't thank you enough.
"We've had a shocking few years so I am hoping this means it is finally turning around."
She said they would go on a holiday.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of two random numbers online at thelott.com - Australia's official lotteries.
