An influx of more than 650 motorbike riders will help turn the CBD lane into 'Bike Street'.
Wayne Amor and Stan Single have organised the inaugural Dubbo Bike Rally on May 11. It's yet to be held, but Mr Amor is already hoping for it to be an annual event.
"We're learning lots as we go but we're trying to outgrow Church Street really soon, even if we don't know what that would then look like," he said.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
As well as an influx of bikes in the CBD, there will also be 20 stalls selling merchandise, parts and food.
Mr Amor said the idea for the rally came from Mr Single who had attended similar events in the United States. Dubbo was the perfect place to hold it because it was a central point in the state, Mr Amor said.
