"Our biggest secret is we don't know what we are wearing, our costumes haven't arrived, so we will keep everyone in suspense (including us)," Ms Anderson said.
The Stars of Dubbo, which raises money for the Cancer Council, is on May 11.
It's been full on in the lead up for the dancing duo.

"Things have been a little bit crazy in my life this year with lots of commitments so it has been a juggling act," Ms Anderson said.
"I probably bit off more than I can chew, but that's just life, you don't say no to being part of amazing event like Stars of Dubbo Dance for Cancer."
After months of practicing, Ms Wake said she was finally starting to have fun, rather than feeling stressed.
"To be honest I really had no expectation but I did think I would pick up dancing a bit quicker. When you see people who do it well it looks easy but when you can't move and you try and do it you realise how difficult it is," she said.
"I have no ability to move my body with rhythm. But Josie said I'm getting better so that must be true."
Ms Wake said the duo had already raised more than their $2000 target and were hoping to end with about $4000.
"I think it's really nice to have that support as well you can bounce off each other and the load is shared. It really makes me appreciate the people who are doing it by themselves because there's a lot involved in organising the fundraising," she said.
Ms Anderson said loved ones had been very supportive during the fundraising efforts, from donating items for raffles to attending events.
"Dubbo people have a lot to give, even in drought they find a way to share the love and get behind us," she said.
With the performance around the corner, Ms Wake said she was "slightly terrified". But her dance partner said she couldn't wait to get on the stage so everyone could see Ms Wake shine.
"We really do feel like super stars," Ms Anderson said.
