New Residents' Night is held twice a year to give the city's newest locals the opportunity to meet other new residents in a friendly, social atmosphere.
Residents will be officially welcomed and have the opportunity to meet with representatives of Dubbo's community organisations including service clubs, volunteer groups and sporting clubs.
This is a free event which the whole family is welcome to attend.
- The Digital Bootcamp
Friday, May 17, beginning 8am - Macquarie Inn, Dubbo.
Small businesses who want to learn about using innovation and digital readiness techniques are encouraged to attend the Digital Bootcamp.
This program will cover topics including, Small Business Digital Readiness, Customer Persona and Buying Cycle, Design Thinking and Lean Start-up, and Growth Hacking for Small Business.
- Dubbo Farmers Markets
Saturday, May 18, from 8am - Macquarie Lions Park.
The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants.
Bring the whole family along to this free event while you purchase some great, local produce.
- Wellington Show
Saturday, May 18 - Wellington Showground.
The 144th Wellington Show will feature a range of local and regional talent.
Locals and visitors are invited to come along and experience a day of entertainment that will include wood chopping, an animal nursery, camp cooking demonstrations, musical performances and much more.
- Lust for Live Acoustic
Sunday, May 19, at 7pm - Black Box Theatre, Western Plains Cultural Centre.
Lust for Live Acoustic is a series of intimate live music performances by local original artists and this event will feature Dubbo band Civil Hands.
The show will include a collection of the band's newest tracks as well as a few familiar tunes.
