Dubbo Turf Club's two-year-old feature race is six weeks away, almost as long as Hyde has had Chilli Pop in his stables.
Chilli Pop will make her debut on Sunday, jumping from wide out in barrier 11 in the Dubbo RSL Sunset Bistro Silver Goblet Preview (1100m).
"She was bred around Cowra and she's been with me for about eight weeks now," Hyde explained.
"She's had the one trial at Mudgee and she wasn't asked to do too much there. It was more about education and it's a learning curve for her."
Chilli Pop is one of just two horses in Sunday's field of 11 making a first start and Hyde has opted to put blinkers on his filly just to "help keep her concentrate".
Adrian Robinson will be the one taking the ride from barrier 11.

The fact it's her first start and she's drawn the widest gate isn't overly concerning, with Chilli Pop having shown the Dubbo trainer enough promise at home to have him feeling positive.
"She's only young and learning her trade but her work has been good," Hyde said.
"I'm happy with where she is. She's got a bit of speed out of the gate and jumps well, if Adrian can get out well and across she should be in the running.
"We are targeting the Silver Goblet with her but we;ll just see how she gets through Sunday."
Depth That Varies, from the Tamworth stables of Colin Dixon, opened a $1.85 favourite on Friday.
He won on debut at his home track last October before returning from a spell with a second-placed finish at Muswellbrook before running at Randwick last start.
Newcastle trainer Paul Perry is sending Dodecanese to Dubbo on Sunday and the colt will be first-up in the prelude having placed once in three starts last preparation.
Hyde's fellow Dubbo trainer Allan Gibson will saddle up Alaskan Aura while Brett Thompson's Denace, a filly whose last start was in the $150,000 Wellington Boot, will also line up.
The Silver Goblet Prelude is the first of a massive nine-race meeting on at Dubbo Turf Club.
The Dubbo RSL Health and Aquatic Club Benchmark 66 Handicap (1100m) is also set to attract interest with a handy field of sprinters to be on show.
The Michael Mulholland-trained Demonize is coming off a last-start win at his home track of Wellington while Newcastle-based Perry will have Akeed contest the race and Cessnock-based Todd Howlett will saddle up the consistent Escebee.
The first race on Sunday jumps at 12pm.
