After taking out the Rawson Homes Premiership A-Reserve Grade title last season, the Hawks are stepping up to the premier A Grade competition this season.
After years away from the top grade, the Hawks return and meet two-time defending premiers Fusion Heat in Saturday's opening round.
It will be 2018 A-Reserve grade premier Hawks who make their top grade debut for Narromine on Saturday.
Hawks captain-coach Trudy Althofer is under no illusions this season will be challenging but she knows her side is eager to take on the best.
"We're hoping our experience will hone our netball skills and teamwork," she said.
"We are a solid A-reserve team; however, we may be a little out of our depth in A-grade, especially with four changes to the team, a key defender has just had a baby and we shall miss her.
"There's players that we are yet to meet, a player returning from having her second child last year."
Althofer says the Hawks haven't spent a lot of time watching A-grade in previous years as they usually support teams within their own club.
"We pride ourselves in our positive approach and we are a team believing that everyone has an important role on and off the court," she said.
"I guess the team to watch is Heat as they have won the last however many years."
Althofer said the Hawks players aren't all located in the one town, some being from Gilgandra, Dubbo and Narromine.
"We don't get an opportunity to train together as a team. So forming new combinations and teamwork will be areas we will be working on," she said.
