Officers attached to the Orana Mid Western Police District say the offences occurred in November last year.

"Two break and enter offences [were] committed in a short space of time at a local Dubbo hotel between 5am and 5.40am on Wednesday, November 7, 2018," officers said in a statement.

"During these offences a substantial amount of cash was stolen.

"One of the males was seen riding a red mountain bike before the incident."

Orana Mid Western police have also released CCTV footage on social media of two men who may be able to assist with the investigation.
