Scott Morrison landed in Dubbo on Friday night and greeted patrons at the Commercial Hotel soon after.
With Parkes MP Mark Coulton, Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack and Agriculture Minister David Littleproud, Mr Morrison ventured out to a farm near Eumungerie on Saturday morning where he announced nearly $60 million extra funding to help communities battling the drought.
After the announcement he traveled to the Gilgandra Show before departing to campaign in other communities as the May 18 federal election edges closer.
