Dubbo business owner Andrew Bassett is set to share his insights into how to grow millennials.
They're people aged from about 20 to 36 years of age.
Mr Bassett, who is a millennial and reports the majority of his 38-member team are millennials, will be the guest speaker at a Dubbo Chamber of Commerce networking breakfast on Wednesday.
"What I am going to be talking about is the culture, what really inspires them [millennials] to bring out their personal best," Mr Bassett said.
"But also for you as a business owner, could be a manager or a supervisor, whoever's wanting to attend this breakfast, what I'm going to be talking about is how to grow and develop them.
"Look at the culture in the business and really find what just makes them tick is what I like to say."
Chamber president Matt Wright said there had been a fair bit of chat among business owners recently about securing and retaining staff.
"And further the different types of staff and the ones that are turning over the most and when you start looking at those younger staff, especially those millennials we thought maybe there's a target audience there, so that's how it came about," he said.

Mr Wright suggested the talk for "business owners, supervisors, team leaders" and even colleagues of millennials.
It is for both members and non-members of the chamber.
"If you're not a chamber member and want to come along, maybe get a bit of a taste at what happens at these networking breakfasts or educational-type breakfasts, here's your chance to come along for a topic that should be pretty interesting," Mr Wright said.
Youth Frontiers project officer Cindy Neilson from event sponsor Marathon Health will also share an update.
"It's a program aimed at engaging young people through mentoring and helping them with confidence and self-esteem and communication skills so they are going to come and talk a little bit about that," Mr Wright said.
Registrations are open to 5pm on Tuesday and can be made at the chamber's website.
