Glenn has been in the music business for decades and even helped form LRB in the 1970s.
He has had a grand career both as a band member and as a solo artist.
Now in his 70s, the Australian music icon has released another solo album where he performs all the hits of LRB.
Speaking to Australian Community Media ahead of the Dubbo RSL performance on May 4, Glenn said local audiences should expect to hear songs from his long career, including the Twilights, Axiom, some solo stuff but mainly LRB music.
"There's usually a couple of little surprises in there as well," he said.
Glenn said thankfully the music of LRB has been timeless.
"It's nice to have been able to be involved with songs that mean something to people through their lives, trigger memories... some people are very knowledgeable about what we do," he said.
"I've sung these songs for a great number of years now and I'm constantly refreshing them..."
The new album that Glenn is taking on the road is called 'Glenn Shorrock Sings Little River Band'.
"I've just released an album of re-recordings of all the earlier LRB hits," Glenn explained.
"I just felt that they needed a bit of refreshment perhaps, so I've done them in a slightly more solo style as Glenn Shorrock the solo singer as I am now rather than being in a band."

He said it has been an interesting experiment.
"To take back my legacy of being part of a band that broke the American market for local music...," he said.
Looking back on his career, Glenn said he is very grateful for it.
"I never thought that I'd be singing in my 70s but here I am. I started when I was about 17 or 18...," he said.
"It's been a long journey and a very enjoyable one. I'm loving it even more so now than ever really."
The last time Glenn played at Dubbo was during the 2017 Riverfest concert at Lazy River Estate, although he explained that he passes through the city quite a bit as family lives in the area.
Glenn will be coming back in July for a Dubbo Emergency Services charity ball, that is being organised by his family members who work in the region as paramedics.
"So I'll be doing my bit for all of those wonderful people who volunteer themselves to help our community. It's nice to be able to do those sort of things," Glenn said.
