It's only been open for a few weeks but it's already proving popular.
The $1.6 million playground has been designed to be inclusive. It includes a liberty swing and accessible barbecues.
The botanic garden playground also has about 800 trees.
The school holidays have started in NSW and will run for two weeks. Double demerit points for Easter will start on Thursday and go until Monday.
