Council has engaged company IRIS to call 600 residents for a community needs survey. The results will help council understand community perceptions of the organisation.
A core function of the survey will analyse satisfaction levels within existing services and facilities along with issues relating to general community wellbeing.

Council's CEO Michael McMahon said it was extremely important for him to understand how the community felt about the level of service council was providing.
"I encourage those residents who are phoned for the survey to offer genuine feedback so we can develop some benchmarks and goals to work toward," Mr McMahon said.
The surveys will be done until April 22.
Residents who don't receive a phone call can still take part in the survey through council's website.
