Tresillian in Western Family Care Centre has received 45 to 50 referrals since it began operating at the end of January.
Head of the new hub Marsha McBroom encouraged parents to reach out for help with "the hardest job in the world".
The service offers advice for a bub who won't sleep or settle, has difficulty feeding or any other early childhood issues, or if mums and dads need support.
The centre in Darling Street was launched late last year, a partnership between renowned early parenting service Tresillian and the NSW government.
Mrs McBroom, its inaugural nurse unit manager, said there had been lots of interest from GPs, child and family health nurses, and the wider community.
"We've had about 45 to 50 referrals since we started at the end of January," she said.
"So it's averaging about 20 to 25 a month."
Centre-based individual consultations, one part of the service, are available for no cost for those with a Medicare card.
Parenting is the hardest job in the world that you’ll ever have... and if you need support it’s out there for you.

The centre has already started some of its parenting groups, with plans to expand them throughout the year.
The Supporting the Sleep Needs of Young Babies Group is a one-off two hour session, Mrs McBroom said.
"Then we also do a Getting to Know You Group, that's for the early on postnatal mums, so that baby needs to be maximum zero to six weeks on entry to the group and it goes for six weeks.
"And it's basically talking about communicating with your baby... and how to pick up on cues and things like that."
Mums and dads were reassured they were not alone.
"Parenting is the hardest job in the world that you'll ever have and ever have to do and if you need support it's out there for you," Mrs McBroom said.
"On the back of your blue book, there's the lovely hotline number for Tresillian and please seek help and go online and find the help you can and find someone who can refer you if you need it and come and see us."
For parenting support call Tresillian's help line on 1300 272 736.
Mrs McBroom, a child and family health nurse for more than a decade and a midwife before that, is enjoying the role.
"[I] wanted to expand my skills, run groups, and just teach mums new parenting ways, and researched ways, it's all research based from Tresillian in Sydney," she said.
"And to just help mums and their families for better outcomes.
"It's very rewarding."
The team is expanding this week to include child and family health nurse Chloe Inder.
The centre will hold an open day in June, with a date to be confirmed.
