This week it's staffing in our newsroom, and a couple of changes I wanted to keep you, our subscribers, up to date with.
Firstly from me, it's goodbye for now.
As of Friday I'm off for the next nine months or so on maternity leave. My plan is to return in February 2020.
I leave you with our deputy editor Craig Thomson who will step up into the acting editors role for the rest of the year, and our senior journalist Orlander Ruming who steps into the deputy editors role.
If you need either of them Craig can be reached at craig.thomson@fairfaxmedia.com.au and Orlander at orlander.ruming@fairfaxmedia.com.au.
That's not the only change we've had either.
You might have seen Ryan Young's name on a couple more articles in the past month. We welcomed Ryan into the newsroom during March and he's hit the ground running. Growing up in the region he has a good knowledge of the area.
In the next few week's we will also welcome Taylor Dodge as a cadet journalist. She's moving from Young, so if you see her around, please say hi.
So that's all from me - until next year at least - though I am sure I will be out and about in the community a fair bit over the coming period, and I'm sure I'll be active in our subscriber Facebook group.
As always, enjoy your Sunday.
