The money was raised from the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce, NAB and Dubbo RSL International Women's Day dinner in March.
NAB senior business banking manager Tina Wood said because the dinner featured Samuel Johnson, who started Love Your Sister to raise money for cancer research, the organisers wanted to support a local cancer support organisation.

She said the money came from the ticket sales to the event and the raffle tickets sold on the night.
Pink Angels' Pam Urquhart said the $6000 would be used to provide practical help for breast cancer patients across the region, such as fuel vouchers, home and garden care, and medical garments like pressure sleeves.
